Evidence-Based Research: Conduct rigorous policy-oriented research on federalism, intergovernmental relationships, and constitutional governance. Regional Equity: Analyse and promote fairness in policy making to reduce state-wise disparities in representation, resources, and development outcomes.
Political Representation & Fiscal Federalism
Political Representation: Develop policy recommendations to improve representation through population data, census methods, and legislative delimitation. Public Finance and Fiscal Federalism: Analyse financial structures — including the role of the Finance Commission, the Goods and Services Tax (GST), and financial autonomy — to empower states.

Analysis
Comparative Frameworks & Policy Dialogue
Comparative Frameworks: Create and maintain comparative data and indices, such as the State Equity Index, to benchmark policy and governance across states. Dialogue and Policy Exchange: Organize seminars, workshops, policy roundtables, and conferences to foster collaboration amongst policy makers, journalists, civil society, and diaspora communities.
Publications & Capacity Building
Publications: Publish policy papers, working reports, and a biannual peer-reviewed journal to contribute to policy knowledge. Capacity Building: Support fellowships and training programs to empower young policy makers, civil servants, and civic leaders.
